Code of Practice (C&P)

1.   General Conduct: - I will always be courteous, polite, tidy and punctual. I will also behave in a professional and ethical manner at all times. My car will be well maintained, clean and tidy. It will also be fitted with dual- controls and properly insured as a driving instructors vehicle. Any claims made against Learn2Pass as the result of an accident will be restricted to the terms of the insurance policy which is current at the time of the incident. Details of the policy will be made available on request. My car is a no Smoking area. 

2. Qualifications: - I am fully trained and a qualified DVSA Approved driving instructor. This involves passing certain tests and a Criminal Record Bureau check. This check can be seen if asked for. I must have my valid ADI badge on show in my vehicle if I am charging for a lesson. If I have given you free lessons for any reason I do not need to show this badge.

3. Punctuality: - I will try to ensure that I am punctual to all lessons, at times due to traffic or unforeseen circumstances I may be delayed. I will call or message you explaining “when safe to do so”. If I am delayed due to unforeseen circumstances, any lesson time lost as a result of this would be made up by me either at the end of the normal lesson time if possible or at a later date. 

4. Training: - All training will be given as directed by the National standard for driver and rider training. A copy of this can be found at the address below. This national standard sets out the skills, knowledge and understanding needed to deliver a programme of driver/rider training. It covers training for drivers or riders of all types of cars, light vans, motorcycles and mopeds for use on the road. It covers training for licence acquisition and post-test driving/riding programmes.

5. Complaints - In the event of a complaint I will make all efforts to resolve the problem directly. However, please do not let a problem linger notify me as soon as possible so that a satisfactory solution can be sort. Any issues I can not resolve you have the right to inform DVSA for them to investagate for you.
