After switching to Jim it was easy to tell his instructing was definitely superior. He is both calm and encouraging. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a driving instructor.

I truly cannot thank jim enough for having the patience with me especially when my anxiety was out of control.... jim helped me an encouraged me to believe in myself an for the 1st time gave me the confidence to actually believe 'i could do It' he doesn't beat around the bush an tell you what you want to hear he tells you what you need to hear......I would not recommend anyone else but him Thankyou so much for getting me passed xx
Thanks to Jim I passed both my Theory and Practical tests on my first try.
I had 32 2 hour lessons with Jim, totalling 64 hours of driving before my practical test.
I passed first time with 5 miners.
Jim is awesome, he will become your buddy; someone that you can easily talk to very quickly, which is a good thing because you need to feel comfortable with your instructor.
You'll have a laugh with him, but he won't take it easy on you.
He will push you to do things you don't like doing, things you aren't great at, so that you get better at them and build up your confidence.
Be it roundabouts or parallel parking, Jim will talk you through it, tell you his tips and tricks, until you no longer need him to tell you what to do because you can just do it.
Jim is extraordinarily patient, he knows that your nervous and feel under pressure and he tries to not let that get to you.
If your giving it 100% then it doesn't matter that you messed up that maneuvers because your going to think about what you did wrong and learn from it.
Jim genuinely cares, he will talk you through everything, if your struggling with something and he can help, be it by talking you through it or finding other methods he will do it.
That's just the type of instructor he is.
Honestly I couldn't recommend Jim more.
I was sure I would fail my Theory and Practical first time.
I didn't, I passed both and I owe that to Jim. He pushed me to study till I knew the answeres and to do maneuvers over and over again until I could just do them.
His rates are very reasonable and I'm so glad he pushed me to do 2 hours every week rather than 1, you get so much more out of it.
Like I said : If your looking for a great instructor, you've found one.
I cant thank Jimmy enough for teaching me the skills and giving me the confidance to pass my driving test.... I didnt pass 1st time but on my 4th attemp, I was ridiculously nervous and made silly mistakes...Jimmy never let me give up on myself. He's so patient and will go out of his way and if he can he will... I couldn't and wouldn't recommend anyone else..Thanks again Jimmy x

I would highly recommend Jim to anyone! Such a friendly instructor who has all the patience in the world and doesn't worry you if you do something wrong, you can always have a laugh with him and he was a masssive help with me learning to drive, I was passed within 5 months of learning, he really does care about helping you to pass and doesn't rush with anything.

I started my driving lessons with Jim in October 2016 and passed both my theory and practical exams first time by May 2017!
Not only has Jim helped me to pass my exams but, more importantly, he has taught me how to be a good and safe driver, beyond our lessons.
From day 1 Jim keeps you informed of how the tests work, how he car works and what he expects of you as a driver, as a teacher he has been fantastic; I cannot praise him enough! I always felt like I was given plenty of information, everything was well organised and professional. I would highly recommend learning with Jim.

Having started my lessons with someone who was completely unreliable and messed me around a lot..along came a taxi driver who recommended Jim to me. I thought why not give him a try..
From day one he encouraged me and pushed me to do more..he's someone who identifys your weaknesses and focuses on them until it becomes a strength.
The lessons are fun and enjoyable but serious when they need to be. There's been times we have laughed and times when we have wanted to kill each other..but it was all with a good heart.
I will genuinely miss getting in his car and going for a spin!

After having 2 previous instructors who messed me around so I gave up for a while. My friend who had recently passed her test gave me Jim's number so I decided to give it one more shot. Safe to say I was pleased! Always on time, helps you with theory practise, well thought out lessons which get changed to suit your type of learning. Overall made me feel calm after being nervous on my third instructor, always had a laugh and them 2 hour lessons just fly by! Today I passed my driving test the first time with 0 minors and it's all thanks to Jim. 10/10 best instructor highly recommend. Thank you again!

Jim was honestly the best driving instructor I could've asked for! From start to finish he was not only a great teacher, but understanding with some of the more stressful aspects of learning to drive. After having two instructors mess me around, putting me in for my test and failing it knocked my confidence and then moving to uni stopped having lessons altogether. Coming back from uni with 6 months until my theory expired, i found Jim online. Cannot recommend him more, he's very friendly and laid back, has a lot of patience, and straightaway identifies your strengths and weaknesses in order to get you passed as quickly as you can. I looked forwards to lessons which I've never done before, and all thanks to jims support and attitude I've passed quickly and safely.

Couldn't ask for a better driving instructor very friendly and made me feel comfortable on every lesson thanks for all the help Jim with passing me on my driving test great instructor always made time for me and gave me great confidence in driving with very well planned out lessons making me work on weaknesses so that I had confidence leading up to the tests always on time will be definitely be recommending you to friends and family.
Decided to go with Jim after having about 6 months break from lessons due to other commitments, needless to say it was the right choice, fantastic instructor that makes you feel very comfortable, and very flexible with lessons etc. He brings an extremely professional approach and a wide expertise in anything with wheels, couldn't recommend him more!

Jim is an outstanding instructor, I couldn't fault him in any way. He is supportive and has always shown great knowledge during my time working with him. Jim is the best instructor ever! Looked forward to my lessons every week with him. He's so easy to get a long wth, really funny and his methods of teaching are brilliant! He gave me so much confidence in myself and made me realise that I was a strong and confident driver. I'm so happy to have passed first time but I'm really going to miss seeing Jim every week. Thanks very much to Jim who helped me to pass first time. I found lessons fun as well as being informative. His teaching methods are very good as you learn quickly and gain the correct skills. I came to Jim from another instructor and the difference in how Jim taught was much better. Nice relaxed driving and explained things in simpler terms to help me understand. I Seriously cannot thank the lovely gentleman named Jim (James Wiseman). He literally makes you feel so relaxed and takes away all nerves that you may have whilst being behind the wheel. We have had months of laughter and enjoyable times whilst learning with you. so glad I made that first move in contacting you way back when I was touch and go if I wanted to drive or not. I feel overwhelmed knowing I have learned a life-long skill with such a lovely man.
