Safe Driving

  1. Always pay attention to the road. Observe traffic and take into account what could possibly happen 15 seconds from now.
  2. Always click and clunk your safety belt.
  3. Leave the correct following distance in between you and the car ahead for the speed you're traveling at. Never tailgate.
  4. If someone tailgates you, ease on brakes for an earlier and slower deceleration when approaching a stop light or sign to prevent a collision.
  5. Drive slower at night and during rainy or snowy weather.
  6. Avoid driving in poor visibility conditions.
  7. Avoid using (turn off) auxiliary lights such as high beams or fog lights when approaching a car from the opposite direction as glare can cause momentary blindness to the oncoming driver.
  8. Never use a handset to speak on the phone or try to send a text message while driving.
  9. Never drive while under the influence of a reaction altering substance.
  10. Yield anyways even if you have the right of way, it's better to yield and avoid a collision then be right and have to deal with the damages.
